Model Number: STE-M
The STE-M Tire Siping Machine allows the operator to sipe both non-mounted and mounted tires with the same machine. For non-mounted tires, expandable rims are available (13″ to 24.5″) to fit over standard expanding hub of the STE-M Tire Siping Machine.
For mounted tires, the expandable hub is swung out of the way; the wheel is fitted with the necessary adapter and rolled into the machine and siped. In either application a tire can be mounted, siped and dismounted in as little as 3 to 4 minutes. Any type of tire can be siped – new, re-cap, or used – as long as it has 5/32” of tread left.
Drivers everywhere are asking for tire siping because it’s proven ability to increase overall tire performance. If you are not offering tire siping you’re losing money and possibly customers.
Specifications:
Forklifts and Lift Gates:
All Single Post, 2 Post, and 4 Post Lifts* require a forklift or similar equipment to unload. Smaller items like Tire Changers and Balancers qualify for lift gate service at no additional cost. Lift gate service lowers your shipment to street level.
What if I don't have a forklift at my location and my order requires it?
This is a common concern. Here are some alternatives:
Can I hand unload my order if I don't have a forklift?
Unfortunately, hand unloading is not permitted. Truck drivers do not allow this due to liability issues and limited unloading time, even if ample assistance is available.
How do I know if my order requires a forklift or if a lift gate service is available?
Forklifts or similar equipment are mandatory for unloading car lifts.
Residential Deliveries:
Yes, we deliver to residential addresses!
Will the freight company contact me to schedule the delivery?
Yes, the freight company will reach out in advance to schedule your delivery, ensuring you're prepared to receive and unload your shipment.
Warehouse Pickup (No Freight Charge)
Warehouse pickup is available for nearly all brands.
Freight Terminals:
If you lack forklift access, we can arrange delivery to a nearby freight terminal that will load your order onto your trailer. Terminals are typically a 30-60 minute drive away. Note: Extremely large orders shipped via dedicated flatbeds cannot be delivered to freight terminals. This information will be indicated clearly on the product page.
